Suppose you are in a dark room. Can you see objects in the room? Can you see objects outside the room? Explain.
In a dark room, you cannot see objects inside the room because for us to see any object, light from that object must enter our eyes. In a dark room, there is no light for reflection off the objects and no reflected light to enter our eyes. However, you can see objects outside the room if there's light outside. This is because light from the objects outside can enter the room and subsequently our eyes, making it possible to see those objects.
Differentiate between regular and diffused reflection. Does diffuse reflection mean the failure of the laws of reflection?

Describe in detail the process of how our eyes enable us to see, by including components such as iris, cornea, pupil, lens, retina, and the optic nerve.
The eye, a crucial sensory organ, facilitates sight by allowing light to enter via its transparent front part, the cornea. The light then passes through an opening in the muscular structure known as the iris, which is responsible for controlling the quantity of light entering the eye through the pupil. The eye's lens, located behind the pupil, is central-thick which aids in focusing incoming light onto the retina. Here, two types of nerve cells (rods for dim light and cones for bright light) sense the light and transmit its information to the brain with the help of the optic nerve. Therefore, the interaction of these components in our eyes enables us to perceive the world around us visually.
