The kingβs court was shrouded in sorrow. The king had given up his throne and title because he wanted to pacify the council of ministers who were unhappy about a judgement he had made. Furthermore, the kingβs stepmother had had an inauspicious and threatening dream about the king being killed in court. There was a lot of crying as the king left the court. The virtuous king accepted that the punishment was fair and left the palace. When he was leaving, he had a foreboding that his kingdom was in grave danger, and entrusted his citizensβ safety to his trusted advisor and prime minister. As is customary when a king is not in court, the council of ministers decided to choose a leader, unaware of the fact that the king had already chosen the leadership.
The king's court was enveloped in grief. The king had relinquished his throne and title in order to appease the council of ministers who were dissatisfied with a judgment he had made. Moreover, the king's stepmother had experienced an ominous and threatening premonition about the king's assassination in court. There was a great deal of weeping as the king departed from the court. The righteous king acknowledged that the punishment was just and left the palace. While departing, he had a sense of impending doom that his kingdom was in grave danger, and entrusted the safety of his citizens to his trusted advisor and prime minister. As is habitual when a king is absent from court, the council of ministers decided to select a leader, oblivious to the fact that the king had already made the leadership choice.
